He studied at Glasgow College of Building and Printing and in 1990 returned to student life gaining a further qualification in Project Management at the College of Estate Management in Reading.

David is a supporter of the traditional values in Quantity Surveying, where practical training and tertiary education go hand in hand. Hence over the years, David has positively promoted the apprentice route within Armours with almost all of Armours senior staff having progressed through this route.

David's main sphere of experience has been in the public housing sector having worked with many Registered Social Landlords and Government Funded Agencies. He has a particular knowledge in this area and always endeavours to procure the best for his Clients through experience, enthusiasm, and a canny knack of persuading funders to go the extra mile.

In recent years, David's expertise has led him down the Project Management route, heading up teams of consultants to deliver high quality management style projects.
